Franklyn Wayne Lewis, 77, of Shacklefords, VA passed away peacefully Tuesday, January 14, 2025.
Frankie loved spending time with his family. Being with his brothers, sisters, friends and family was his favorite pastime, only seconded by watching the Washington Redskins.
Frankie was preceded in death by his parents, Horace Lewis and Alberta Sheppard; son, David Wayne Lewis; daughter, Tammy Lynn Lewis; brother, Gary Lewis; sister-in-law, Mildred Lewis. He is survived by three sons, Frankie Kline Lewis (Katrina), Nicholas Lewis, Scott Lewis (Helena); a daughter, Tanya Lewis; two brothers, Johnny and Randy Lewis (Sandra); two sisters, Debbie Smith and Sandy Richmond; special friends, Edna Edwards, Bernie and Becky Melton, Gina Graves and James Edwards; 17 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
The family will receive friends from 11:30 AM to 1 PM, Tuesday, January 21st, 2025 at Vincent Funeral Home, West Point, with the funeral service beginning at 1 PM. Interment will follow in Sunny Slope Cemetery, West Point.
