James Cody Bamburg passed away suddenly at the age of 32 on Tuesday, January 23rd, 2024. Cody, known affectionately as BAM among his friends was taken from this world too soon due to a motorcycle accident. Cody was a welder by trade and a graduate of Warwick High School.
Cody’s passion was to work on and ride motorcycles. He was a free spirit that would do anything, for anyone, at any time. We never truly understand how many lives we touch in our lifetime, and Cody touched so many in his all too short life. His smile would light up any room and was the friend you could count on to always be there.
Cody is survived by his parents, Jay and Paula Bamburg; sister, Brittany Wilcher and brother-in-law, Dane Wilcher; nieces, Lyanna and Roslin Wilcher; his beloved dog, Lincoln; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and extended family.
One of his cousins wrote these words to comfort the family and we would like to share them with you. “Someone once told me, we are all born with a full heart and some of us give it all away too fast, and they have to go – so that is why.”
Please join the family and friends to celebrate and share stories during the visitation at Weymouth Funeral Home on Saturday, February 3, 2024, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., followed by a celebration of life gathering at his family home at 2 p.m. In honor of “Cody Style”, casual dress is acceptable.
