Forrest “Skeeter” Evans, 90 of Providence Forge, VA passed away peacefully on January 24, 2024. He was proceeded in death by his father Forrest W. Evans, mother Alma Pearl Evans, and wife Tina Healey Evans.

Skeeter spent several years of his life in Deltaville, VA where he worked building boats. When he moved to Charles City he worked as a truck driver, tow truck driver, and loved working on vehicles in his yard including building 4×4 trucks. He often enjoyed playing guitar, going to the mountains or going to get crabs with his sister, watching westerns, and spending time with his friends and family.

He is survived by his children LeeAnn (Timmy), Roger (Karen), Mishell, and Diane (Quallie), a sister Anne (Everett), grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, his grand dog Luke, several friends and family members.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, January 30th, 2024, from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at Vincent Funeral Home, 9923 Pocahontas Trail, Providence Forge, VA. The funeral will be held on Wednesday, January 31. 2024 at 11 a.m. at Vincent Funeral Home in Providence Forge with burial following in Washington Memorial Park, Sandston, VA.
