Thelma Hall Blount, 93, of Henrico, passed away peacefully on July 31, 2023.
She loved spending time with her family, flowers, music, shopping, and playing cards.
Thelma was preceded in death by her first husband, John Robert McNamee, Jr.; her second husband, Marvin Blount; two brothers and a sister; and a great-grandson, John Cotten.
She is survived by her son, Bruce McNamee (Cathy); daughter, Donna McNamee; 6 grandsons, J.B. McNamee (Jennifer), Bubba McNamee (Kym), Jason McNamee (Angela), Shane Tomlin, Brandon Tomlin (Catlin), Ryan Porter (Tenzing); five great-grandsons, five great-granddaughters, and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, August 7 at Vincent Funeral Home; 9923 Pocahontas Trail, Providence Forge, Va. Interment following the service in Washington Memorial Park. The family will receive friends on Sunday, August 6 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
