Howard Talley Cook Jr., “Tal” passed away on Saturday, May 28, 2022, at the age of 56. Tal was born on April 25, 1966 in Hampton, VA.
He is survived by his daughter, Tiffany King (Eric); mother, Earleen O’Roark (Richard); and father, Howard Cook, Sr. (Diane); sister, Amy Driscoll (Kenny); bother, James Cook (Julia); and several nieces, a nephew, an aunt, several uncles, and many cousins.
Tal was a free spirit and a kindhearted individual.
He would go out of his way to help anyone that he could. He served as an over the road truck driver. His compassion and love for what he did was unmatched. Tal’s favorite hobbies included hunting, fishing, riding four wheelers and his motorcycle. The feeling of being free is what he enjoyed the most.
The celebration of life will be held at Nelsen Funeral Home on Saturday, June 4, 2022 at 2:00 p.m.
