Here’s where you can ring in the New Year in Hampton Roads, Peninsula

New Year’s Eve is a time for celebration and in Hampton Roads and the Peninsula, there are plenty of options.

From Roaring 20s-themed parties to simply taking the family out for some fun, WYDaily has compiled a list of some New Year’s Eve events.

Williamsburg

  • Precarious Beer Hall’s “A Totally Rad 90s New Years Bash!,” Tuesday at 6 p.m. to 2 a.m. A 90s-themed party with a pinball tournament, a 90s costume contest, and must from BJ Griffin and The Galaxy Groove. There’s a $15 cover at the door and the event is 21 and older after 9 p.m.
  • The Hound’s Tale, “Roaring 20s New Years Eve Party,” Tuesday starting at 4 p.m. to midnight. There will be live music from Robert Hodge from 4 to 7 pm. and music from DJ Kundize from 8 p.m. to midnight.
  • Center Street Grill, New Years special menu, starting at 4 p.m. Center Street Grill will have a special menu featuring live music.
  • CultureFix, New Year’s Eve Free Community Celebration, 9:40 p.m. to midnight on the Lawn of the Art Museums of Colonial Williamsburg. This free event will feature live music from the band Not Fade Away, kid-friendly events and a chance to watch the ball drop on a big screen in Downtown Williamsburg.
  • Williamsburg Inn, New Year’s Eve Gala starting at 8:30 p.m. Guests can dress for a Roaring 20s-themed evening that includes a six-course tasting menu with wine parings, music from the 504 Supreme and the Truetone Honeys and a midnight champagne toast.
  • Tipsy Beans Cafe, The Gala at High Street, starting at 10 p.m. Guests should wear cocktail attire to enjoy a night of music from DJ MZA with unlimited hors d’oeurves and a free drink with the purchase of a $35 ticket.

Hampton

  • The Greene Turtle’s New Year’s Eve celebration starts with happy hour and all you can eat tacos from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. Live music and a DJ are providing the music until 2 a.m.
  • Park Lane Tavern is serving champagne cocktails and a “champagnes of the world sampler” before a midnight balloon drop. Live music starts at 7 p.m.
  • Oozlefinch Craft Brewery at Fort Monroe is having “beertails” or beer mixed drinks in addition to their regular draft selections on Tuesday from 7 p.m. to 1 a.m.
  • One ticket provides a champagne toast and party favors from Power Plant Parkway‘s PBR and Guy Fieri joints for NYE Live! from 9 p.m. to 2 a.m.
  • Tickets to The Vanguard Brewpub & Distillery’s “Slainte NYE Party” start at $25 and features live music from The Fighting Jamesons and Hey Hey Hooliganfrom 8 p.m. to 2 a.m.
  • A complimentary buffet and a champagne toast are included in Avenue Blue’s $35 admission ticket to their 2020 celebration starting at 9 p.m.
  • Hampton Marina Hotel hosts a Roaring 20s New Year’s Eve Bash from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m. Ticket prices range from $100 to $300 and sales end Dec. 29 — get them here.
  • Admission to Bar Louie’s “Roaring 20s Party” is free Tuesday from 8 pm. to 2 a.m. where 1920s attire is encouraged by not required.
  • Capstan Bar Brewing Company is giving away free food starting at 6 p.m. Tuesday while supplies last with merch giveaways and a midnight toast for their New Year’s Eve celebration.
  • Pour Girls recommends making a reservation for a three-course dinner at their “Roaring 20s” New Year’s Eve celebration Tuesday from 7 p.m. to 2 a.m.
  • Marker 20’s New Year’s Eve Bash features music by DJ Nate Downtown Hampton Tuesday from 10 p.m. to 1 a.m.
