
NEWPORT NEWS — The public will have a chance to experience hands-on science, technology, math and engineering activities.
Newport News Public Schools and Christopher Newport University are partnering to host a STEM Community day from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. on June 2 at CNU’s Freeman Center.
Area businesses, organizations, industry experts and schools will share information with interactive and engaging activities, according to a news release from the city.
The event is free and open to the public.
Organizations and businesses interested in being an event exhibitor can register to participate by visiting the NNPS website.
The goal of the event is to help people of all ages explore educational and career opportunities available in Newport News for students and adults interested in STEM.
