JAMES CITY COUNTY — The James City County Board of Supervisors met on Jan. 13 for its annual organizational meeting to elect a Chairman and Vice Chairman.
John McGlennon, who represents the Roberts District and has served on the Board since 1998, was elected Chairman.
Ruth Larson, representing the Berkeley District, was elected Vice Chairman. Larsen was elected to the Board in November 2015 and reelected in 2019 and 2023.
The board meets for its regular meeting at 5 p.m. on the second Tuesday of the month, with the exception of August. Business meetings are the fourth Tuesday of the month at 1 p.m., with the exception of August and December. Both meetings are held at 101 Mounts Bay Road, Building F.
Meetings also stream live online and broadcast live on Cox Cable channels 88 and 48 in James City County and in the City of Williamsburg. Past meetings are available on demand.
