WILLIAMSBURG — The Colony Auto Enthusiasts announced its 17th Annual Williamsburg Invitational Car Show will take place Sunday, Sept. 14, along Duke of Gloucester Street in Colonial Williamsburg.
This year’s event, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., showcases 50 outstanding examples of four-passenger convertibles — foreign and domestic — from the 1900s through the 2020s. The organization said this collection will celebrate over a century of open-air motoring and timeless design.
Admission is free to the public, and the show is presented as a charity event supporting RIDES Transportation Services, which provides essential rides for seniors and others in need within our community, it added.
“We’re thrilled to bring this rare collection of classic and contemporary convertibles to one of Virginia’s most beautiful and historic settings,” said Walt Zaenker, a member of the Colony Auto Enthusiasts.
Sponsors include Audrain Motorsport, Auto Haus, Stuttgart Porsche Services, Williamsburg Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram Kia, The Auto Clinic and Morgan Stanley (Carder Hartman Pattisall Group).
