NEW KENT — Cannon Country Fest brought a taste of Nashville to New Kent Winery for the second consecutive year Aug. 23.
Cannon Country 107.9’s concert-style festival, billed as “A Nashville to New Kent Experience,” brings some of Nashville’s best talent to the Historic Triangle for a night of country music, food and wine. Cannon Country 107.9 is owned by Local Daily Media, which also owns WYDaily.com.
Carvin Walls, Tim James, and Justin Andrews sang mixes of songs by some of country music’s best artists, while also debuting original works.
This year, the Cannon Country Fest team also recognized a local family for their military service by naming them the Military Family of the Year.
