
NEWPORT NEWS – Local police and U.S. Marshals have apprehended a man wanted in three jurisdictions, authorities said.
Earl Dontia Wiggins, 30, of Hampton, was arrested Friday, authorities said Monday.
Wiggins was wanted in Newport News, Hampton and Suffolk. Newport News Police did not elaborate, only saying the charges in their jurisdiction “stem from an incident involving an adult female in May 2018 and to charges stemming from an incident with an adult female in October 2018.”
Authorities also did not specify which jurisdiction the charges stems from, but listed these as being filed against Wiggins: two counts of abduction by force, intimidation or deception, one count of abduction of person with intent to defile, one count of sodomy by force or victim helplessness, one count of object sexual penetration by force or helpless, three counts of robbery, one count of grand larceny, two counts of possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, carrying a concealed weapon, two counts of conspiracy to commit a felony, five counts of using a firearm in commission of a felony and violating probation.
