Residents in James City County will have the opportunity to discuss the proposed roadway and drainage improvements in Toano next week.
A public meeting to discuss the roadway and improvements will be at 4 p.m. Aug. 2 in the Community Room of Fire Station No. 1, 3135 Forge Road, in Toano, according to the county’s website.
Areas affected by the proposed projects include:
- Intersection of U.S. 60 and CSX Railroad, east to the intersection with Chickahominy Road
- Depot Street
- Toano Drive
- Chesapeake Avenue
- Portions of School Lane, Church Lane and Forge Road
The county is looking for input from residents to ensure that the proper improvements are made in the correct places.
