HAMPTON — There’s a new boss in charge at the Sentara CarePlex Hospital.
Kirkpatrick Conley was named president of the hospital on April 9, according to a news release Friday from Sentara.
Conley previously served as the chief operations officer of Tri-City Medical Center in San Diego, according to the news release.
“We are pleased to welcome Mr. Conley and his impressive energy, ideas and passion for excellence to the Peninsula,” said Terrie Edwards, corporate vice president of Sentara Healthcare, in the news release. “His talent, coupled with his proven track record of effectively leading large, complex healthcare organizations, makes him a tremendous addition to the Sentara Healthcare team.”
Conley holds a management degree and master’s in health administration from Tulane University.
“I am excited to join and collaborate with the great team at Sentara CarePlex Hospital,” Conley said in the release. “I strongly believe in our mission to improve health every day and look forward to providing the comprehensive, high quality care the Hampton and Peninsula communities deserve.”
