HAMPTON ROADS— Lionsbridge Football Club, a semi-professional soccer team in Hampton Roads, recently announced its 2025 schedule.
Lionsbridge went 15-2-4 in 2024. The team was a USL League Two Eastern Conference finalist, set a new club record for points in USL games, and made its fourth straight USL League Two playoff appearance.
Lionsbridge also won its third straight Chesapeake Division title and its sixth straight Coastal Virginia Challenge Cup. The team led the division in game attendance and set new records for single-game and single-season attendance.
“The schedule announcement means a new season is just around the corner. We can’t wait to be back on the field, competing for more trophies and representing the very best fans in USL League Two,” Mike Vest, co-owner of Lionsbridge Football Club, said.
The 2025 season opens on May 10 when Lionsbridge visits Virginia Beach United. On May 14, Lionsbridge will open its home slate against Grove United. On May 18, Lionsbridge will be at home against the Virginia Marauders. The team will head out on the road for a matchup against Patuxent FA on May 21. Two other home games round out May on May 25 against Greenville United and May 31 against Northern Virginia FC.
Lionsbridge begins June on the road with matchups against the Virginia Marauders and the Annapolis Blues before returning to TowneBank Stadium for a four-game home stand on June 11, 14, 18, and 21. The team will play one road game on June 25 before returning home for games on June 28 and July 3. The final regular season games are an away contest against Northern Virginia FC on July 6 and the team rounds out the season at home on July 12 versus Patuxent FA.
When the regular season wraps up, USL League Two playoffs begin with the East Conference first round scheduled for July 15, quarterfinals on July 18, semifinals on July 20, and finals on July 25. The national semifinal is set for July 27 and the national final is scheduled for Aug. 2.
Lionsbridge will submit a bid to host all rounds that it qualifies for. There will also be three fireworks nights throughout the season, along with local food trucks, opportunities for autographs, and more.
2025 season tickets are on sale now and single-game tickets will be available starting mid-April.
