The Hampton Roads Academy boys soccer team earned a three-way share of the Tidewater Conference regular-season crown after shutting out Walsingham 3-0 in a game played Friday at Christopher Newport University.
The Navigators clinched a share of the title with Norfolk Academy and Cape Henry Collegiate, who finished with identical 6-0-2 conference records.
HRA will be the No. 3 seed, which was determined by a preseason draw, and open conference-tournament play against Nansemond Suffolk Academy at home today.
The Navigators, who allowed the least amount of goals scored in the TCIS this season, won both of their regular-season meetings against NSA.
Walsingham, which posted a 1-7 TCIS record, will travel to play top-seeded Cape Henry. The Trojans played Cape Henry to a scoreless draw in the first half before losing 2-0 earlier this season.
