Merely 24 hours after shooting Lafayette’s girls soccer team past Bruton in the Rams’ Bay Rivers District opener, Carson Pokorny was at it again Wednesday.
Pokorny found the back of the net four times for the second game in a row to lead Lafayette past visiting Churchland 4-0 in a non-district contest held at Wanner Stadium.
Pokorny was set up by a different teammate each time as Catie Saverese, Mackenzie Wilson, Grace Macomber and Keyera Whiting all tallied assists for the Rams, who improved to 4-0 (1-0 BRD) on the season with the victory.

Lafayette poured it on early against visiting Churchland on Wednesday night en route to earning a one-sided 8-0 victory at Wanner Stadium.
Reeves Trott registered his second hat trick of the season and and Jason Eckenrode scored twice to lead the Rams, who jumped ahead 5-0 at halftime. Kamran Rahman added three assists in the win as Lafayette improved to 5-0 on the season.

Tabb Girls Dominate Smithfield for Second BRD Win in a Row
Four different players scored as Tabb shut out Smithfield 8-0 on Wednesday to improve to 2-0 in the Bay Rivers District.
Erin Fenton led the way with four goals while Madalynn Grounds provided one goal and combined with Katie Herold to assist on five of the Tigers’ scores.
