It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Cynthia S. Bickford, who departed this life on October 28, 2025, in Virginia Beach, Virginia. Born on December 7, 1948, in the state of Maine, Cynthia lived a fulfilling life of 76 years.
Cynthia was a dedicated Sales Associate at Trader Joe’s, where she contributed her steadfast work ethic and friendly demeanor to all who had the pleasure of knowing her. Her commitment to her role and her kindness to customers and colleagues alike were among her many endearing qualities.
She was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Thomas Edwin Sharpnack, Sr., and Kathleen Herberlin Sharpnack. Cynthia leaves behind a loving family who cherished her deeply. She is survived by her son, Devin Bickford, and his wife, Jacklyn; daughter, Heather Parsons; and one cherished grandson, Matthew Parsons.
Services to honor Cynthia’s memory will be held at a later date, allowing friends and family to gather and remember the wonderful person she was.
