Cecilia Ann Davitt Thomas, age 91, of Virginia Beach, passed away on November 4, 2025.
She was born to William F. Davitt and Mary Lojewski in Dickson City, PA. She was predeceased by her husband of 54 years, Bobby K. Thomas, brothers William H. Davitt and Gerard A. Davitt, sister Joan M. Bowe, and grandsons Stuart Shimkus, Joseph Felix, Daniel Felix, and Julian Felix.
She is survived by her daughters Kelly Thomas and Jenifer Felix of Philadelphia, and Karen Thomas of Somers Point, NJ; grandchildren John T. Shimkus, Vincent Felix, Anthony Felix, Dylan French, Martin Felix, Sebastian Felix, and Frances Felix; and great-grandchildren Anthony Felix, Sunshine Lorenc-French, Andrea Felix, and Josette Coll-Felix. Special thanks to Daniel Felix, Robert Felix, and Stacy Koles for their loving care during her final years.
Cecilia was a member of Star of the Sea Catholic Church, the Shining Stars Senior Adult Group, and the Tidewater Irish American Society.
Arrangements: Funeral mass will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, November 15, 2025, at Star of the Sea Catholic Church in Virginia Beach. Burial will be in Moscow, PA, and will be private.
Donations may be made in Cecilia’s name to the Food Bank of Southeastern Virginia and the Eastern Shore.
