Dionisio Navarro Tacastacas, 88, of Williamsburg, VA passed away on January 7, 2025.
Born October 5, 1936 in Iligan City, Philippines, Dionisio attended Woodrow Wilson High School and worked as a company driver before retiring from National Power Corporation (NPC).
Dionisio enjoyed singing, playing the harmonica, dancing, and playing Chinese checkers. He was an avid fan of both basketball and Hawaiian bread. Above all else, he loved being in the presence of his loving wife, Milagros, spending time with his family, singing, and listening to his favorite songs.
He is survived by his wife, Milagros Pastoril Tacastacas; sons, Manuel Tacastacas and partner Jonah Grace, Jessie Tacastacas and partner Joselin, Rene Tacastacas and partner Anna Leah, Romel Tacastacas and partner Elaine; daughters, Leonor T. Actub and partner Ahmed Ruel, Lilian T. Abujan and partner Rene Nelson. He will also be missed by his grandchildren, Samuel Jan, Gabriel Philip, Melissa Mae, Stephen Neil, Kurt Rusheen, Ryan David, Aldi Jon, Myla Feliz, Kristin Liane, Erlein Melissa Joy, Elenore Gabrielle, Joshua Renz, Rhenan Jericho, Kristin Irah Grace, Brian, and Brandon.
Dionisio was preceded in death by his son, Samuel Tacastacas and his partner, Melinda; as well as siblings, Priscilla, Leonila, Nicodemus, Erenea, Regina, and Evangeline.
