Patricia Bryant Driscoll, 54, passed away before her time on Monday, December 9, 2024. Born in Hampton, Virginia she was a 1988 graduate of Denbigh High School. Tricia was a cherished daughter, mother, sister, aunt, and friend.
Her positivity and personality were contagious to all who had the pleasure of meeting her. Patricia’s radiant smile, her kindness and warmth toward others, and her passion for the outdoors always brought joy to those around her. Patricia was fiercely independent, she was never afraid to try something new or complete a project.
Tricia’s daughter was the center of her universe. Being a mother was the highlight of her life and she made sure that everyone around her knew that. Some of the qualities that made her the best mom were that she made sure her daughter was deeply cared for, loved, and surrounded by happy memories of the two of them.
She was a dedicated employee for Langley Federal Credit Union for thirty six years. A loyal coworker and friend to many who crossed her path. She was an inspiration and a valuable asset to the Langley team and will be remembered for many years.
Tricia was preceded in death by her father, William E. Bryant and many loved family relatives. She leaves to cherish her memory her mother, Maria Bryant; her sister, Katharina Formy Duval; half-sister, Debbie Chebetar; beloved daughter, Shelby Driscoll; her nephew, Christopher Formy; her nieces Rachel Formy Duval and Charlotte Lohr; many dear friends that she considered family and her beloved cats.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 14, 2024 at Weymouth Funeral Home. A reception will be held from 4:00 – 6:00 p.m. following the celebration of life at Salsa’s Mexican Restaurant in Newport News, Virginia.
