Ann Washington Foster, born on May 17, 1963, in Youngstown, Ohio, passed away peacefully on November 28, 2024, in Norfolk, Virginia at the age of 61. Her journey through life was marked by unwavering dedication and love towards her family, friends, and community.
Ann devoted 30 years of her life to serving others as a Dialysis Technician at Davita, where she retired, leaving behind a legacy of compassion and professionalism. Her commitment to her work and those she cared for was an inspiration to all who knew her.
A woman of deep faith, Ann was a cherished member of Connect Church 757. Her radiant spirit was a beacon of hope and strength, offering solace to her congregation and everyone she met along her path.
Preceded in death by her father, Gene Washington, and brother, Lloyd Washington, Ann leaves behind a loving family who will carry her memory forward. She is survived by her devoted husband of 28 years, Gerald Foster, Jr., and their beloved children: daughter Shamilla Foster, and sons Anthony and Torrey Washington. She is also remembered fondly by her mother and step-father, Pearl and Martin Walker; sisters, Gail McGeorge and Tanya Simpson; brother, Kent Washington; grandchildren, Aakirah, Jahmere, Loyal, Tyrone, Neveah, Tye Garner, Jatori, Jakai, and Tyson; and great-grandchildren Kayden, Kylan, Derrick, and D’Aira.
