Lue E. Spruell was born on August 20, 1940, to the late Ida and Joseph Jefferson Jr. She went home to be with the Lord on September 6, 2024.

A homegoing celebration will be held at Noon on Saturday, September 14, 2024, at Mt. Zion Baptist Church, Charles City. Mrs. Spruell may be viewed on Friday, September 13, 2024, from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. in the funeral home.
