Donna DeAlba, 76, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, August 17, 2024, she passed away peacefully with her family at her side.
Donna was born October 5, 1947, and was a lifelong resident of Seaford, Virginia.
She and her sister Bonnie Dean started a janitorial business and were recognized in the community as women business leaders. Donna continued in the janitorial business until her retirement. Her favorite pastimes were spending time with family and attending cookouts, dining out at her favorite restaurants, and watching home improvement shows. Most of all she will be remembered for the loving mother and grandmother that she was.
She was preceded in death by her parents John and Willeen DeAlba, brother John DeAlba and her daughter Connie Scott.
She is survived by her longtime companion Paul Kudlaty, her sister Bonnie Dean, her son Randy and his wife Sandy Kimrey, grandchildren Mitchell and Wesley Kimrey, and Andrea Wirt. Great grandchildren Ty Kimrey, Amelia, Alice and Austin Wirt. Her deceased daughter Connie Scott children, Kristen Graham, Brittany and Johnny Scott And great grandson DJ Graham. Her son Michael and wife Jenna Payne their children Savannah and Michael Payne. Her daughter, Cristy Norton and her husband Steve. Their children Brooke and Taylor Norton.
The viewing will be held at Amory Funeral Home on Thursday, August 22, 2024 from 8 p.m. to 9 p.m. Graveside service on Friday August 23, 2024 at 1 p.m. at Peninsula Memorial Park.
