Charlie James Mahone Jr., 67, formerly of Beaverdam, entered into eternal rest on May 13, 2024.
Charlie was an avid hunter, and member of the Cattail Hunt club. He spent his free time watching Nascar and rooting for the New York Giants. His family was everything to him, he loved his children and grandchildren dearly.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Charlie James Sr., and Betty Anna Mahone; son, CJ; and his brother, Richard Mahone.
He is survived by his wife, Christine; daughter, Amanda (Jojo) Schultz; sons, Bobby (Jocelyn), and Scotty (Savannah); grandchildren, Kayla, Autumn, Hayes, Raif, Calliope, and Canaan; great-grandchildren, Amory, Paxton, and Alicia; a sister, Patsy Eicher; his canine companions, Buddy and Chip; and a host of nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday, May 20, 2024, at Vincent Funeral Home, 9923 Pocahontas Trail, Providence Forge, VA 23140. A funeral service will be held 1 p.m. Tuesday, May 21, 2024, at the funeral home.
