Christine Macali Lisee died peacefully in her home in Virginia Beach on October 4, 2023. She was 74 years old.
A graduate of Vassar College, Christine had a long, successful career as a casting director in advertising and theater, owning her own agency in SOHO before shifting gears later in life to follow her passion for floral arranging. She traveled extensively with her husband Barry and their beloved dog Lou Lou, bouncing back and forth between the coasts. She loved the South of France and cherished her time spent there, bringing back with her French art and objects to decorate her home.
In Virginia Beach, she was a member of the Lynnhaven Heritage Garden Club, which brought her great happiness.
Christine is survived by her stepdaughters Pamela, Alexandra and Gillian, as well as her stepsons Michael and Christopher. She was predeceased by her husband Barry Lisee, brother Bill Macali, and parents, Joseph and Marie Macali.
