Comfort Lane Robertson entered into eternal rest on Sunday, May 21, 2023, at the age of 84, surrounded by his wife and family. He was born on May 30, 1938, to the late Willie and Ethel Robertson of Smithfield, Virginia.
He was educated in the Isle of Wight County School System. He retired from Colonial Williamsburg after thirty-three years of service. He had a passion and love for bowling and participated in a league for many years. He enjoyed family time, especially cookouts and birthday celebrations. He will be greatly missed.
Comfort is survived by the love of his life, his wife, Rosa; loving daughter, Lana; wonderful sons, Comfort Jr. and Torres (Teresa); and adorable grandchildren that brought him so much joy.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, May 27, 2023, at Whiting’s Funeral Home. Mr. Robertson may be viewed on Saturday beginning at 2:00 p.m. in the funeral home. Facial coverings are recommended for all services.
