Walter Fielder “Bill” Littreal, Jr., 79, of West Point, passed away unexpectedly on April 22, 2023.
Bill was born in Pulaski County on April 8, 1944, and he graduated from Fries High School in 1962. Following graduation Bill married the love of his life, Carolyn Campbell Littreal and they just celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary in February. Bill proudly served the Commonwealth of Virginia as a devoted member of the Virginia State Police for 31 years.
Bill often answered to “Coach” from his many years of dedicated service as a volunteer coach in West Point. He dearly loved spending time with his family and watching his beloved New York Yankees and Virginia Cavaliers.
Bill was proceeded in death by his parents Walter and Ruth Littreal; Brother-in-law Eugene Graham; and Sister -in-law Shirley Littreal.
Bill is survived by his wife Carolyn; brothers Fred (Linda) and Jim; a sister-in-law Dolores Graham; children Becky Cobb (Keith), Carol Davis, and Billy Littreal (Maria); grandchildren Tyler (Allie), Kyle (Kristin), Travis (Zach), Cody (Katelynn), Katlyn (Jordan), Emily and Grace; and great-grandchildren Kennedy, Turner, Harrison, Brooks, Jack, Grayson, Brooks and a host of nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers the family asks any donations to be made to the Virginia State Police Alumni Emergency Relief Fund located at 6944 Forest Hill Avenue, Richmond, VA 23225.
