Robyn Taylor Arrington, 70, of New Kent, VA, went to be with the Lord on December 24, 2022, surrounded by her family, after a long battle with breast cancer. She retired after 34 years as an executive secretary at Philip Morris. Robyn enjoyed attending special teas with her family and friends. She also loved traveling, was an avid reader, and enjoyed watching old movies. She had such a big heart for all living things, especially children and animals. What she loved most of all was spending time with family and friends, especially her grandchildren.
Robyn was born December 23, 1952 and grew up in Chesterfield County. She is preceded in death by her son Justin Franklin Arrington and her parents Frank Henry and Estelle Grant Taylor.
Robyn is survived by her husband of 42 years Runnie Arrington; a daughter Megan Arrington; a sister Sharon Taylor Roberts; a brother Mark Christopher Taylor (Patty); two grandchildren Taylor Allen and Emmaline Lawson; nephew Dexter Arrington (Meghan); nieces Jennifer Willis (George), Heather Everheart (Chris), Melissa Jackson (Rob), and Abigail Wilson (Andy); and many cousins, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
The family will receive friends 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Friday, December 30th at Vincent Funeral Home, 9923 Pocahontas Trail, Providence Forge, VA 23140. A graveside service will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, December 31st at Signal Hill Cemetery. A celebration of life service will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, December 31st (after the graveside service) at Tsena Commocko Baptist Church, 2401 Tsena Road, Providence Forge, VA 23140.
