Thomas “Godfather” Leonidas Adkins (Vincent Funeral Home)

Thomas “Godfather” Leonidas Adkins, 79, of Providence Forge, VA, passed away Saturday, October 8, 2022.

Thomas thoroughly enjoyed life everywhere he went. He was a motorcycle enthusiast and rode all up and down the roads attending different events. As far as Thomas was concerned, if it wasn’t a Harley, you might as well be riding a scooter! NASCAR was also a love that Thomas held. He would always tune in for race day and rarely missed a lap.

Thomas was a fan of bluegrass music and kept it on his radio. He also took pride in his Chickahominy Tribe and would dance in the Pow Wow back in the day. Overall, Thomas enjoyed being around people. He will be missed by all who loved him. He was preceded in death by his parents, Irving and Ora Adkins, sister, Cheryl Adkins and brothers, Dennis and Randy Adkins.

Thomas is survived by his son, Lance Holmes; grandsons, Lance Holmes, Jr. and Kyson Holmes; sisters, Paulette Bradby and Sharon Adkins, along with a host of other relatives and friends.
