YORKTOWN — Mildred “Mary” Lanzendorf, 92, passed away on Tuesday, March 15, 2022. Mary was a native of Louisiana and a Yorktown resident for many years. She retired from Hampton Public Schools as a teacher and later worked and volunteered with the York County Public Library.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years Richard Lanzendorf, her son Richard Lanzendorf, and a daughter Susan Lanzendorf. She is survived by a son Michael Lanzendorf of Hampton and grandchildren, Marie, Sophia, Elizabeth, and a great-granddaughter Ella Smith.
A memorial mass will be celebrated at 10:00 am on Friday, March 18, 2022, in St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church. Arrangements by Amory Funeral Home, Grafton, Va.
