WILLIAMSBURG-JAMES CITY COUNTY — On January 21, 2022 the skies added another bright star as we said goodbye to our beloved mother, Connie. Born on September 28, 1928 in Logan, PA as the daughter of Paul A. and Marjorie Moffet.
Connie was a school nurse in the WJCC School System and absolutely loved all the students and faculty she took care of over her 30 plus years of nursing. A note, we found recently, sums up her love and dedication to her profession. “Practice the art of school nursing well and add the special dimension called love. Invest in the future and reap the rewards found in touching the lives of children.”
She is survived by her three sons; Robert P. Johnston, Kenneth M. Johnston (Spouse Mary), and Scott A. Johnston (Spouse Denise). Nana loved her grandchildren Eric, Matthew, Kevin, Morgan, Alyssa, and Alexa, as well as, her great grandchildren. Due to current Covid-19 challenges no formal service date is scheduled. A small celebration of her life will be coordinated in the Spring.
