NEWPORT NEWS — George Alfred Masel, 86, died Friday, Jan. 15, 2021. He was born Dec. 30, 1934, in New York, New York, to Charles and Mabel Masel.
George proudly served in the U.S. Army for 28 years.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 55 years, Emma Masel; and daughter, Alice Mastle.
Survivors include his granddaughter, Amanda Dellostritto (Todd); and three great-grandsons, Scott, Aric and T.J.
George’s family will hold a private service for him.
