Lee A. ‘Sam,’ ‘P.C.’ Perrin Sr., 82, avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan

Lee A. Perrin Sr., affectionately known as ‘Sam’ and ‘P.C.,’ peacefully entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, March 22, 2016, at Regency Health & Rehabilitation Center.

His life’s journey began on January 13, 1934, the son of the late Margaret and Samuel Perrin. At an early age, he accepted Christ as his personal savior and became a faithful member of Grafton Baptist Church-Harris Grove. He attended York County Training School. He was employed for many years as a brick mason. Lee was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers Fan. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

He leaves to cherish his memories his loving wife, Pearl Rainey Perrin; daughters, Annette Robinson (Spencer) and Jacqueline Evans; sons, Jeff Slade (Darlene), William Evans, Cyrus Perrin, Lee Perrin Jr. and Brad Perrin; 10 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; sisters and brothers; and a host of other loving relatives and many caring friends.

Mr. Perrin may be viewed from 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday at Whiting’s Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held 11 a.m. on Monday, March 28, at Grafton Baptist Church-Harris Grove with the Rev. Wayne S. Tucker officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Family and friends will assemble at 229-A Dare Road by 10 a.m. Monday, March 28, prior to the service.
