Jimmie Lee Folsom, 74, passed away on January 5, 2016, in his home. Born in Orlando, FL, he was the son of the late Bernard and Lula Mae Folsom.
He was retired from the U.S. Navy as a Chief Petty Officer and also retired from BAE Systems. He was a member of N.R.A.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 52 years, Rosemarie Folsom; sons, Eric N. Folsom and James D. Folsom, grandchildren, Adam S. Folsom, Anthony J. Folsom and Michael R. Folsom, all of Virginia Beach, VA; brother, Jerry Folsom, and sister, Ruby Gartley, both of Florida.
The family will receive friends to celebrate Jimmie’s Life at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Lynnhaven Chapel on Sunday, Jan. 10, 2016, from 3 to 5 p.m. with U.S. Navy honors rendered at 3:15 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project.
