Hampton Roads Academy dropped its third consecutive game as the Navigators fell 7-2 on the road to Highland School on Saturday morning.
Highland School jumped out to an early lead after posing four runs in the bottom of the first inning to take a 4-0 lead. Another run in the second inning extended Highland’s lead to 5-0.
After a scoreless third inning by both teams, HRA notched its only two runs of the game in the top of the fourth inning.
However, Highland added a pair of runs in the bottom of the fourth inning for the game’s final runs.
HRA (0-3) will now try to rebound Tuesday at home against Peninsula Catholic.
