Senior Alert Activated for Missing Norfolk Woman

UPDATE (July 26, 2021): Ms. Patterson has been safely located and the Senior Alert has been deactivated.

NORFOLK — The Virginia State Police (VSP)activated a Senior Alert at 5:24 a.m. on Saturday, July 24 for a missing Norfolk woman.

The Norfolk City Police Department (NCPD) reported that Sheron Patterson, 62 years old, is missing. Patterson is described as Black woman, 5’1″ ft. in height, weighing 145 lbs. with brown eyes, and black and gray hair. She is possibly wearing a long blue short-sleeved dress.

Patterson was last seen at 9:57 p.m. on Friday, July 23 at 600 Gresham Drive in Norfolk.

She suffers from a cognitive impairment and investigators have determined that her disappearance poses a credible threat to her health and safety.
