GLOUCESTER — Gloucester County Sheriff’s Office (GCSO) is asking for the public’s assistance in locating a man who is wanted on several charges.
George Michael Adams II, 31, is wanted by GCSO for eluding law enforcement and driving revoked while Driving Under the Influence (DUI) (felonious third or subsequent offence).
On May 1, 2021, Adams was involved in a crash at the 200 block of Redoubt Road in York County. According to Shelley Ward, public information officer for the York-Poquoson Sheriff’s Office (YPSO) a 2014 Lexus IS250 was involved in this crash. When notified, the owner was not aware that the vehicle had been stolen as it was in the shop for repairs. Investigators determined that Adams was responsible for stealing the vehicle.
