Novelist to Speak at Local Writers Online Meeting

HAMPTON ROADS — The local authors collective, Chesapeake Bay Writers, a chapter of The Virginia Writer’s Club, is set to host a virtual meeting featuring award-winning novelist and former international attorney Clifford Garstang as the guest speaker.

The meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, June 16 at 11:30 a.m. Garstang, who’s writing credits include novels such as “Oliver’s Travels and The Shaman of Turtle Valley,” will discuss, “Becoming a Citizen of the (Literary) World: Influences, Responsibilities, and Publishing Trends.”

The event is free and open to the public. Information on how to access the Zoom meeting will be published on the CBW website.

Founded in 1991, the CBW connects writers in the Middle Penninsula, Northern Neck, Williamsburg.
