American Legion to host POW/MIA ceremony on Christmas Eve

NEWPORT NEWS — The American Legion Braxton-Perkins Post 25 is hosting a candlelight vigil at the Virginia War Museum on Monday.

The event is free and open to the public.

According to the event’s Facebook page, the ceremony is on Christmas Eve and pays tribute to prisoners of war or those missing in action.

The 2018 Annual Christmas Eve Candlelight Vigil for POW/MIA is at the Vietnam Veterans Monument at the Virginia War Museum, 9285 Warwick Blvd. at 5:30 p.m.
