NEWPORT NEWS — The Love in Daddy’s Hands nonprofit is encouraging the public to drive seniors through the city’s Celebration in Lights at Newport News Park.

Each ride costs $12 and there are limited funds available on a first come, first serve basis.

According to the event’s Facebook page, drivers can use their own vehicle or the senior’s vehicle to transport the seniors to the holiday lights.

The Love in Daddy’s Hands: You Drive, They Ride event runs through Jan. 1 at Newport News Park, 13560 Jefferson Ave. every night from 5:30 p.m. to 10 p.m.

For more information or to receive funds, contact Wendy on the nonprofit’s Facebook page or theloveindaddyshands@gmail.com.
