Local museum to showcase more than 350 works from Hampton Roads artists

HAMPTON — The Charles Taylor Visual Arts Center will display miniature artwork from local artists starting Dec. 8.

The exhibits are free and open to the public.

According to the city’s announcement, more than 250 artists created small artwork, 20 inches or less, in various art mediums, including watercolor, pastels, printmaking and sculpture.

Artwork is for sale and may be removed at time of purchase.

The Miniatures and Small Works Exhibit by Tidewater Artists is at the Charles Taylor Visual Arts Center, 4205 Victoria Blvd. on Saturday, Dec. 8 through Jan. 20.

The gallery is open Tuesday through Friday, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturday, Sunday, 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.
