Library hosts free robotics for kids

NEWPORT NEWS — The Main Street Library is hosting a free robotics event for kids Tuesday.

The event is free and for kids in third through seventh grade.

According to the event’s Facebook page, kids learn basic programming for robotics, STEM concepts and engineering terms through hands-on projects.

Instruction is provided by Sylvan Learning.

The Introduction to Robotics with Sylvan Learning is at the Main Street Library, 110 Main St. from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.

Registration is required and there is currently a waiting list.
