Learn about the signs of bullying at this free event

NEWPORT NEWS – The Mayor’s Youth Commission and the Mayor’s Initiative to End Bullying are hosting a free event about bullying.

The event is for adults and children ages 7 and older. RSVP is required.

According to the city’s announcement, youth commission members will teach children about bullying through discussions, games and other activities while adults create paintings and learn how to spot signs of bullying in their children.

The Pop N’ Paint: An Interactive Discussion on Bullying event is at the South Morrison Family Education Center, 746 Adams Drive on Saturday from 1:30 p.m. to 4 p.m.
