There’s a Hanukkah workshop at this museum

NEWPORT NEWS — The Peninsula Fine Arts Center is hosting a Hanukkah workshop for children and parents.

The event costs $12 for members and $15 for non-members.

According to the nonprofit’s event page, staff members will guide children to create a menorah with two hands, non-toxic paint and a porcelain plate.

Finished plates can be picked 7-10 days after the event.

The Happy Chanukah Plate event is at the Peninsula Fine Arts Center, 101 Museum Drive on Friday, Nov. 30 from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m.

Pre-registration is required and space is limited to 10 children.
