The Hampton WorkOne Center opens at the Y.H. Thomas Complex next Friday.
The free event is open to the public and includes a ribbon cutting and open house.
The center is part of Workforce Hampton and will provide various resources to unemployed, underemployed and underserved residents including free internet and computer usage, resume building tips and job opportunities, according to a news release from the city.
Mayor Donnie Tuck, City Manager Mary Bunting and other City Council members will attend the event.
The Grand Opening of the WorkOne Center at Y.H. Thomas Complex, 1300 Thomas St. is Nov. 30 at 10 a.m. to noon.
