The contest is free to enter and this year’s theme is ‘Explore’.

Students in grades kindergarten through 12th grade are eligible to enter the nationwide contest and applicants must submit their artwork online, according to the contest’s website.

A panel of judges will select and recommend winning entries in each grade and NASA Langley makes the final decision.
