NEWPORT NEWS — The Main Street library will host its Author Showcase event Saturday to celebrate Local Author Week.
The event is free and open to the public.
According to the library’s news release, 59 published Hampton Roads authors from all genres will sign autographs and sell their books and other merchandise at the showcase and attendees can also enter giveaways.
The authors all donated copies of their books to the Newport News Public Library.
The 2018 Author Showcase is at the Main Street library, 110 Main St. from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
