Find out how sea levels are affecting Hampton Roads at this free lecture

HAMPTON — Emily Steinhilber, a research assistant professor at Old Dominion University will discuss strategies to deal with rising sea levels.

The lecture, Adapting to Sea Level, will be at the Hampton History Museum, 120 Old Hampton Lane, on Nov. 14 from noon to 1 p.m.

The event is open to the public and attendees should bring lunch.

Steiinhilber is also part of the Commonwealth Center for Recurrent Flooding Resiliency, which provides federal, state and local agencies scientific data on flooding in Virginia, according to a news release from the city.
