There’s a paper conservation lecture coming up. Here are the details

NEWPORT NEWS — The Mariners’ Museum and Park is hosting a paper conservation lecture this weekend.

The event is open to the public and free with museum admission, however reservations are encouraged, according to the event’s Facebook page.

Emilie Duncan, assistant paper conservator, is the main speaker for the event and attendees can hear about her experiences and learn about paper conservation process.

The Art of Paper Conservation lecture is at the Mariners’ Museum and Park, 100 Museum Drive on Saturday from 2:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.
