Celebrate National Bullying Prevention Month with the City of Newport News

NEWPORT NEWS — The city’s Community Explosion event to stop bullying is at the South Morrison Community Center’s TowneBank Youth Development Park this week.

The anti-bullying event is Monday on 746 Adams Drive from 4:30 p.m. to 7 p.m.

It’s free and open to the public and includes games, prizes, food and other attractions for attendees.

The “We’re Better Together” community event is part of Mayor McKinley Price’s campaign to end bullying in schools and the community by working with local youth, school leaders and residents.
